- ➤ Gray Media has named Kristy Santiago as GM of KFVS-TV (CBS and CW) in Cape Girardeau and WQWQ-LD (Telemundo) in Paducah, Kentucky. She brings decades of broadcast experience and will lead both stations into a new era of local news. KFVS12

- ➤ Missouri lawmakers are proposing a bill that would require students in kindergarten through fifth grade to complete assignments on pencil and paper + local educators at Chaffee and district schools voiced mixed reactions while raising concerns about funding for extra supplies. KFVS12

- ➤ Missouri Department of Conservation released 2024 deer season totals with 275,656 deer checked statewide, including 128,935 antlered bucks, 23,779 button bucks, and 122,942 does. November logged the highest count with 158,577 deer (82,314 of which were antlered bucks). Fox 23

- ➤ Southeast Missouri Redhawks with an 8-7 record will face Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles at Liberty Arena tonight with tipoff at 7:30 p.m. CT. The team will begin its road trip Saturday at Morehead State. Fox 23
