- ➤ Still Hope, a film based on true events and directed by Richie Johns with Luna Rivera in a teen role, will run for five days starting Feb. 5 in southeast Missouri; ticket sales will decide an extension (the film secured five award nominations). KFVS12

- ➤ Southeast Missouri State University will host free college payment workshops on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at Kennett, Wednesday, Jan. 21 at Sikeston, and Thursday, Jan. 22 at Cape Girardeau. Families can enjoy dinner plus get help with the FAFSA ahead of the Feb. 2 deadline. KFVS12

- ➤ Contractor crews halted work on the Bill Emerson Bridge for winter so plows can clear the roads; work is expected to resume in February or March if weather permits. KFVS12
