Cape Girardeau police marked Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on Thursday by honoring officers & local, state, and federal partners while thanking residents for their support.

Contractor crews halted work on the Bill Emerson Bridge for winter so plows can clear the roads; work is expected to resume in February or March if weather permits.
