- ➤ Later this month, the Gateway Down Syndrome Association’s Southeast Missouri Chapter will host DSA Runway to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day—taking place on March 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at ROOST in Cape Girardeau, where models with Down syndrome will showcase clothing and promote community inclusion. - ➤ A KYTC contractor will close KY 1099/7th Street at its intersection with KY 125/Union City Highway in Hickman starting Monday, Mar. 9, weather permitting, and motorists will use a marked detour via KY 1463+ work on a new box culvert is expected to continue until mid-July. Fox 23
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for parts of Cape Girardeau after recent water main repairs dropped pressure below 20 psi; residents should boil water for drinking, brushing teeth, or cooking for 3 minutes.
