- ➤ Rural Health, Inc. today offers Medication-Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder at five clinics in southern Illinois where residents can receive a mix of medication and therapy. Psychiatric nurse practitioner Erica Vining said the program can cut the risk of overdose death by 70 percent. KFVS12
- ➤ Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office warns residents that fentanyl test strips (which may give a false sense of security) are not reliable when testing counterfeit street drugs like fake pills. The office advises parents to talk with their children about these risks. Fox 23
