- ➤ Volunteers from various organizations joined Old Town Cape on Earth Day to clean up downtown Cape Girardeau ahead of the upcoming Riverfront Market. The cleanup focused on removing trash (cigarette butts, glass, and other debris) to help maintain a cleaner community. KFVS12
- ➤ A Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony will be held on May 14 at Cape Bible Chapel to honor officers who died in the line of duty—coffee and donuts will be served at 9 a.m. ahead of the 10 a.m. start, and the event is open to the public. Fox 23
- ➤ Cape Girardeau businesses will donate part of their profits to Easterseals Midwest for Take Action for Autism Weekend from April 24 to 26.
