- ➤ Cape Girardeau Noon Optimist Club awarded eight graduating seniors $1,000 scholarships on May 6 as part of its Steve Wright Scholarships program to honor academic achievement and leadership, and the club said the awards support young community members. Fox 23
- ➤ The University School for Young Children at SEMO has been reaccredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, confirming its commitment to high-quality early education for local families and offering SEMO students hands-on training opportunities.
