Sheri L. Reeves, a 55-year-old woman from Kennett, Missouri, was sentenced on Tuesday, May 27 to 15 months in prison and ordered to pay $565,000 in restitution to Bank of America—she will also face five years of supervised release for acting as a money mule who transferred fraudulently obtained funds in 2020.

Police are investigating a shooting that damaged a city utility pole near Locust Street and Ranney Avenue when officers responded at about 10:30 p.m. on May 26—no arrests have been made.
