- ➤ The Perry County School District 32 Board of Education announced a new policy that bans students from using personal communication devices from the start of the school day until the end of classes, which will take effect Aug. 20, as mandated by Missouri Senate Bill 68. The rule covers cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, personal laptops, and Bluetooth headphones/earbuds — and it applies to all public schools in Missouri with building-specific procedures to be provided at open houses.
