A juvenile is in custody after a bomb threat was reported at Delta C-7 School in Caruthersville on August 29—law enforcement agencies secured the building and confirmed it was safe.

On Oct. 4, the Bollinger Mill State Historic Site in Burfordville will host its annual Fall Festival with free admission and activities such as self-guided tours, a scavenger hunt, an antique tractor parade, and live bluegrass music.
