- ➤ Old Town Cape, Inc. will host its annual Revivify: Farm to Table fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 21st from 3 to 7 p.m. along Spanish Street in downtown Cape Girardeau where local chefs will serve a four-course meal with ingredients from Cape Riverfront Market vendors — live music, a silent auction, and other activities are planned and tickets cost $100. - ➤ Safe House of Southeast Missouri director Jessica Hill will step down at the end of September to become chief public affairs officer at the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence. She has led the safe house since 2015 and has overseen projects that include building a new shelter and expanding outreach services. Fox 23
- ➤ The Cape Girardeau County Archive Center will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a free open house (2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3) at 112 E. Washington St. in Jackson. Dr. William Eddleman will speak at 2 p.m. as visitors enjoy guided tours of the facility’s exhibits. Fox 23
