Two churches in Sikeston and Jackson will host Night to Shine proms on Friday, Feb.

13, from 6 to 9 p.m., featuring dancing, food, photos, hair and makeup, and shoe shining (with comfort dogs and a sensory room at the Jackson event) for participants aged 14 and older.

Eligible nonprofits can apply for a grant of up to $2,000 with a total of $5,000 available for organizations in Bollinger, Cape Girardeau and northern Scott Counties — applications are accepted through March 2.
