Saint Francis Healthcare System will host its seventh annual outdoor Live Nativity on December 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cancer Institute Entrance 6—volunteers will portray biblical figures with live animals such as cows, camels, four-horn sheep, and a donkey—and parking is available nearby.

Former SEMO professor Dr. Linda Heitman created a national online program on organ donation training that has reached over 5,000 nursing students.

The program—funded by Mid-America Transplant and launched as a pilot in spring—includes five modules with quizzes, videos, interviews and discussion forums to prepare future nurses for their role in the donation process.
